The International School Hamburg is located in the western suburb of Groß Flottbek, about 10 km west of the city centre. The school moved to its new, state-of-the-art premises, opposite Hamburg’s beautiful Botanic Gardens, in January 2010.
Reach us by Air
Hamburg’s only airport ‘Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel’ is located north of the city centre. A taxi ride from the airport to our school takes approx. 30 minutes. Alternatively, the train line S1 runs directly from the airport to walking distance of our school.
Reach us by Train or Bus
The nearest train (S-Bahn) station, ‘Klein Flottbek’, is a 12 minute walking distance from the school, along the picturesque ‘Wanderweg’ which runs parallel to the botanical gardens. Take the train line S1 or S11 in the direction Wedel or Blankenese.
