Embark on a voyage of learning

ECC Library

The Early Childhood Centre Library is a welcoming, child-oriented space, created to instill and nurture in our youngest students the love of reading and books. It is a place of imagination and discovery, where children are encouraged to become motivated, independent learners.

The ECC Library is located on the ground floor, in the ECC corridor, and is easily accessible for the ECC students.

Features:

  • a collection of carefully selected, age-appropriate books, including a board book section

  • a comfortable seating area, where the library storytime takes place

  • light tables and chairs for students to work and create

  • a collection of stuffed animals and puppets for playtime

  • a SMARTBoard

The ECC students visit the ECC Library once a week for their scheduled library lesson, during which they listen to a story and, under the librarian’s guidance, select books to take home for pleasure reading.
