The Junior School Experience
In addition to our rigorous and engaging academic program, the ISH Mission highlights the importance of a well-rounded, holistic education.
In this spirit, students regularly in curriculum-related and cultural class trips throughout the city of Hamburg and surrounding areas.
Students in P1 to Grade 2 participate in day trips that support IPC learning and enrich their experience of local German culture. Students in Grade 3 also participate in an overnight local trip, and students in Grades 4 and 5 participate in an additional weeklong trip in Northern Germany.
Students attend Assembly on alternating Fridays, which is an opportunity for the Junior School community to gather and celebrate student achievements. Dramatic performances, project presentations, read-alouds, musical items, clubs and after-school group performances, as well as general announcements and information are included. Parents are always welcome to attend!
