Last Saturday, ISH was really vibrant with kids running around playing games supervised by grade 6 to grade 11 students, young chalk ground artists doing their thing, teenagers hanging out looking cool, wonderful smells of delicious food coming from the bbq (thanks to our never failing Aramark team), old friends catching up after the long summer break but more importantly introducing themselves to our new families, giving them a taste of fun times to come and generally welcoming them to ISH.
It was also an opportunity for the Sri Lanka Project to get people to sign up for the Cup Charity Golf tournament coming up on the 16th of September in aid of their on-going fundraising project. Ms. Hayward set up a mini-golf corner that was well participated by young and old alike.
As always, the PTA mums are very busy at these events, making sure everything runs smoothly and clearing up after. They got the ISH clothing apparel out for ISH members to try them out and make orders. Don’t forget you have until this Wednesday the 9th to get your 10% discount!
We welcome all new families to ISH and hope that they are settling in well and a big Thank You to the PTA members and all volunteers, Country Reps for organizing and participating in this wonderful event!
