ISH students showcasing their Service, Sri Lanka Project at the Service Expo

Service and Action (learning by doing and experiencing) have always been shared values of the IB community. ISH has a variety of service activities operating including many student-led activities where our learners get the opportunity to engage in our local and global community and act to make a positive difference to the lives of others and to the environment.

These services are showcased twice a year at the Service Expo, held in the Aula in set displays that explain about their work, outcomes and successes as well as to encourage more students to join.

Led by the students and their supervisors participants Kids 4 Kids, Sri Lanka Project, The Girl Effect, Library Love, Greenish, Tanzania Project, WISH Team, After school kids club, Model United Nations, Tech Crew, Yearbook Team, Student Council, Youth Climate Summit, Homework Club, KHAYALETHU Orphanage in South Africa, UNICEF, Hair and Makeup Team, Props, Costumes and Set Design team and School Band.

The Service Expo will be held on September the 5th 2018 from 10:00 – 15:30. Parents are most welcome to attend after school.
