WISH Team
The Welcome To ISH Team (WISH TEAM) is delighted to welcome and support all families new to our vibrant community. We contact you prior to your arrival and help answer any of your questions about school and life in Hamburg, introduce you to other families, and serve as a general point of contact and support.
Our committed WISH TEAM is comprised of parents from the Early Childhood Centre, Junior School and Secondary School, who will not only provide you with all the necessary information relevant to your children’s age and grade, but also assist you in successfully navigating your way through your first year at ISH.
The WISH TEAM will also put you in touch with a country representative – someone who will share their knowledge in your own language and will introduce you to other expat families from your home country. They will also share their experience and cultural advice on the unspoken and unseen dos and don’ts that come up when adjusting and acclimatizing to a new culture.

We are happy to inform you about events planned just to welcome new families and students. Depending on the time of year, these might include Orientation Day, Flow of Care Weeks, PTA Coffee Mornings, shopping trips and many more. The WISH TEAM will also help you find information about events planned for the whole community, which we hope you will join.
