Moving with your family to a new city is always a big challenge, and deciding where your kids should go to school is one of the most important decisions you can make. Here at ISH, we have almost all experienced what it's like to move to Hamburg for the first time, many of us from very far away, and our students from over 50 nations have all known what it's like to be "the new kid" in school. These combined experiences, enriched by the stories we bring with us, and our shared Weltoffenheit—openness to the world—have helped to create the diverse, welcoming community that we have today. 

With over 60 years of experience in education, teaching staff from all over the world, a brand new campus with state-of-the-art facilities, and an extensive array of athletics, arts, and extra-curricular activities, not to mention fun (and delicious!) parent-led community events, we will do our best to support your family as you make your transition to this green, Hanseatic city that we are lucky to call home. 

If you are relocating to Hamburg or have been here for a while, we would be happy to meet with you, show you around our school, and help explore the paths your children could take at ISH. Plenty of information about the admissions process, tuition fees, and programs taught in all branches of our school can be found right here on our website, but if you can’t find the answer you’re looking for or would just like to get in touch, feel free to contact us (in English, German, or French) just to chat about your situation or to set up an appointment.
