This Art Club caters for gifted and talented students in grades 1 to 2. The clubs provides students with the opportunity to engage in various Arts and Craft styles and projects using a range of mediums and materials.

This Art Club caters for gifted and talented students in grade 3. The clubs provides students with the opportunity to engage in various Arts and Craft styles and projects using a range of mediums and materials.

Activity Leader:

This class will be a hands-on practical experience. Students will make art whilst exploring different techniques and materials. Some works will be completed in an afternoon but most pieces will take a few weeks to be finished. Throughout the course students touch on some theory and learn about techniques that work well with certain materials. 

All pieces will be inspired by an art technique, an art form, artist or art movement.

Students will learn stamping, stenciling, die-cutting, inking and much more as they create handmade paper crafts like greeting cards, mini albums and bookmarks. Students will also create their own "All About Me" scrapbook, with pages dedicated to favorite hobbies, foods, holidays and more as personalized keepsake scrapbook that includes photos, memorabilia and journaling!
