65 years of developing global citizens
ISH was the first international school to open in Germany. From humble beginnings in 1957 in a one-room school of 50 students near the Alster to a custom built facility in Gross Flottbek in Hamburg's green belt, ISH now serves over 720 students and 150 staff.
Generations of international-mindedness have forged our traditions. Our success and learnings from the past have guided our mission and vision – keeping the well being and education of our students at the centre of everything we do.
At ISH we cherish our alumni network spread across the world and we keep them close so that ISH remains their home away from home.
Welcome back, Welcome home!
Whether you were a student at ISH for a few years or are one of our graduates, whether you worked here or were one of our parents, you remain a member of the ISH community even after you have moved on.
We are delighted that you get back in contact, and we are curious about where life has taken you post-ISH. We look forward to welcoming you back on campus every year for our Alumni Summer party on Graduation day in June.
If you want to find to more about it, reconnect with lost classmates, browse our digital archive and stay tuned on all upcoming events sign up our ISH Alumni Network below.
